“Wolf has been the main training base for Sammy Oakes for the last six years or so. He has just made the GB squad – it wouldn’t have happened without Wolf Mountain. Thanks to all the staff for making us so welcome over the years. A fantastic centre for all abilities to enjoy.”

“Westcroft School has used Wolf Mountain for a number of years now and I am always delighted with the experience our children receive. Staff are professional, friendly and really know how to work with our children. They make all the activities challenging and fun. Our children love going and experiencing the ever growing range of activities on offer. It is also really helpful that the children can be picked up and returned to school as we quite often don’t have a mini bus available.”

“Pupils from St Edmund’s school have benefited from attending Wolf Mountain, gaining experiences of new activities and challenges that they would not normally encounter during their normal school day. They have developed both their physical and mental skills during activities such as rock climbing and mountain biking. Wolf Mountain supports what the PE faculty strive for in developing pupils thinking skills rather than solely focusing upon the physical. Pupils are encouraged to work together and consider each other’s safety.

Any wishes of the PE faculty have been accommodated by the staff and have been able to match our needs due to the facilities and equipment available. An example of this is the examination pupils in PE having to complete demonstrations of their abilities in various sports. The staff have even gone the extra mile and taken pupils on an individual basis to an outdoor rock climbing facility for their A Level assessment.

A good link has been developed between the school and Wolf Mountain, where the education of pupils has extended into sessions after school. These sessions are always well attended due to the positive experiences that pupils have on their visits, and they are always eager to return. Wolf Mountain has enabled the PE faculty to improve their examination results and I would recommend them to anybody who is interested in setting up opportunities for the development of the people that you work with.”
