Wolf Mountain Cubs (minimum age 8)

These courses are aimed at young people who would like to work towards the progressive indoor climbing awards of Bronze, Silver and Gold.  The awards focus on safety, competence, equipment, basic indoor climbing skills, team work, centre etiquette and above all having fun.

Courses generally run during term time after school and on Saturday or Sunday mornings.

Taster Session (Minimum age 5) NB Registration not required

Taster sessions cost £10.00 per person and require pre-booking with a minimum of two people to take part. The session lasts for one hour and is an introduction to indoor climbing for those who have little or no previous experience. Equipment hire and instructor supervision is included in the price (shoes excluded).

Induction (Minimum 2 people)

All adult non climbers will be required to register and complete an induction before being allowed to use the centre. The cost of the induction is £15.00 per person (annual registration fee inclusive).  Areas covered during the induction will be centre rules and use and an introduction to basic indoor climbing skills. Once competency has been achieved adults will be allowed to climb in the centre unsupervised. Cost includes equipment hire (shoes not included) and instruction.

Technique (Max 2 people £35.00 per hour)

You may feel that having learned some of the basics skills required to climb indoors others seem to be getting up the walls with a lot less effort. Perhaps it’s time for some further tuition. The focus of the technique course is on style, movement, balance, weight distribution and footwork. It is designed to help you improve your climbing performance.
